Remote Spanish-English Language Interpreter

Position Overview:

As a remote language interpreter, you'll handle high-volume inbound calls, providing essential interpretation services across various industries. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to important communication needs.

Key Details:

- Work remotely from anywhere in the United States
- Long-term contract position
- 3 weeks of paid training provided
- Opportunity for video interpreting
- Monday availability required

A Day in the Life:

- Manage on-demand telephone calls from your quiet home office
- Facilitate Spanish-English conversations for diverse sectors including healthcare, government, insurance, finance, and hospitality
- Navigate simple to complex and technical translations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including Mondays
- Possess manual dexterity for typing or note-taking
- Comfortable with on-camera interactions
- Previous experience not required, but education or work history in teaching or translation is valued

Technical Requirements:

- Personal iPhone or Android smartphone
- High-speed internet connection
- Dry erase marker board
- Dedicated workspace
