Job Description

Total Care Pharmacy seeks a detail-oriented Remote Payroll Assistant to support our HR and Finance teams.

Responsibilities:

· Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately [insert number] employees

· Review and verify payroll data for accuracy

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Data Entry and Record-Keeping:

· Enter employee data, hours, and benefits into payroll software

· Maintain accurate records and databases

· Update employee information and benefits

Benefits Administration:

· Assist with benefits enrollment and changes

· Coordinate with benefits providers

· Communicate benefits information to employees

Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations

· Prepare and submit payroll reports

· Assist with audits and reconciliations

Communication and Support:

· Respond to employee payroll inquiries

· Provide support to management and HR

· Participate in training and development

Requirements:

· 1+ year of payroll experience

· Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations

· Excellent organizational and communication skills

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

· Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex)

· Familiarity with HRIS systems

· Previous experience in healthcare or pharmacy industry
