DESCRIPTION
Amazon Global Engineering Services (GES) is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager (PM) with a strong background in communications, capable of providing program management support in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment.
· As a Program Manager, you will manage and support multiple initiatives simultaneously while working quickly to deliver results.
· In this role, you will be required to engage with a cross-functional team of leaders to identify metrics and data sources, develop key performance indicators, provide insights and analytics, and manage execution plans.
· You must be a highly-effective communicator, capable of leading meetings, owning recaps and tracking milestones to pull work forward.
· You will be responsible for identifying and addressing pain points of the business using LEAN and other similar techniques.
· You will conduct data analysis to identify recurring issues and implement significant process improvement projects within the team and larger business function.
· You will be responsible for creating and implementing a long-term communication strategy for the organization.

This includes developing project plans, collaborating with internal and external teams, managing stakeholders, identifying issues, creating key messages, and keeping up to date with best practices in the communications field.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- A 4 year degree in Communications, Public Relations, or similar is preferred, along with multiple years of work experience in the communications field.
- Tenured experience in the Communications field.
