Key Responsibilities :

• Assist attorneys with preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Draft correspondence to clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage case files, organize legal documents, and maintain the firm’s filing system.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.
• Schedule meetings, court hearings, and deadlines for attorneys.
• Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
• Prepare and organize trial binders and documents for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Answer the firm's phones and take messages as needed, ensuring clear and accurate communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) preferred.
• Experience : 3-5 years of experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, with some exposure to legal research, case management, and document preparation.
• Skills :
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to represent the firm professionally and effectively when interacting with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
