Job Description

If you are a passionate Interior Designer looking to join a growing team, there is an incredible opportunity that awaits with a reputable Architecture and Design Firm. This firm is seeking an Interior Designer with start-to-finish project experience and a desire for continued growth and leadership development.

Interior Design Experience:

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design required
* 5-12 years of experience in all phases of architectural projects with an emphasis on interior design
* Architectural license required

Interior Designer Requirements:

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, PhotoShop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office preferred
* Experience in commercial, recreation, public sector, public works, sustainable, municipal/government projects preferred
* Strong technical, code, and detailing skills for quality documentation
* Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
* Proactive written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to integrate design requirements with architecture
* LEED accreditation an asset
* NCIDQ accreditation preferred

Interior Designer Responsibilities:

* Manage projects from start to finish
* Consult with clients on interior design concepts and needs
* Define project requirements and develop design criteria
* Manage project scheduling, estimates, budgeting, and planning (drawings, models, materials, etc.)
* Use software to design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects
* Professional client development skills
* Leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels

Compensation:

* $70,000-$110,000 (negotiable based on experience)
