Job Description
Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking an Immigration Paralegal with five (5) years of experience employment based business immigration.
Responsibilities - Assist with, prepare and file employment-based applications (H, L, E, O, P, TN, EB-1s, NIWs, and EB-2 + EB-3 PERM labor certifications, etc.) under attorney supervision;
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of complex cases such as O-1 and EB-1 petitions, motions to reconsider;
- Assist with Audits of client documents including I-9, H-2B, LCA and PERM files;
- Research and assist with the preparation of Responses to Requests for Evidence, Responses to Intent to Deny Notices, etc.;
- Participate in case strategy meetings, client development activities, town hall meetings and seminars provided to clients;
- Data Entry, including detailed tracking into case management system and deadline monitoring;
- Perform intake of cases once assigned;
- Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications and Develop knowledge of Firm and client processes;
- Experience with any of the following a plus:Js and J-1 waivers, Schedule A, student issues, visitor visa issues, naturalization, family immigration.

Requirements - BA or BS degree preferred.
- Associate's degree or paralegal certificate required.
- Five or more years of professional work experience in business immigration (law firm, preferred).
- Ability to work well with clients and experts required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and written communication skills.
- Experience with LawLogix and/or INSZoom a plus.
- Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
Work Environment & Physical Demands - This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- Achieve high level of productivity.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time.Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
VISUAL ACUITY Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as:preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The salary range for this position applies to the respective listed locations. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. Reasonable estimate of the current ranges for this position are:
- State of Washington, D.C., State of California and State of Colorado: $80,000 to $111,000
