About The Role: As the Global Mobility Manager, you'll be a key member of the People Ops team and the driving force behind our immigration and global mobility programs. This role is perfect for a strategic-thinker with a passion for employee experience, compliance and program management.
What You'll Achieve: - Serve as an immigration and relocation subject matter expert for Notion's internal partners.
- Complete assessments and initiation for immigration & relocation cases
- Be the main point of contact for employees, candidates & managers on immigration and relocation inquiries.
- Support the J-1 program administration and management for our internship program.
- Work closely with immigration counsel on document review, PERM process, invoice approval, etc.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, Payroll, and People Ops team members to ensure compliance such as I-9, Right to Work Check, FICA tax exemption requests.
- Assist with complex issue resolution facilitated through stakeholder discussions that balance business needs, employee experience and risk.
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to develop process improvements.
Skills You'll Need to Bring: - 5+ years of experience in immigration and global mobility
- Strong knowledge of H-1B lottery, PERM, global immigration, domestic and international transfers
- Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas
- Solutions-driven with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Highly adaptable and will thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Nice to Haves: - Experience working with Global workforce.
- 3+ years working in fast-growing technology company.
