We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated ESL Instructor to join our team. In this role, you'll develop adaptable lesson plans, create engaging activities, and offer personalized feedback to support student growth and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Design interactive and stimulating activities to enhance student engagement and development.
Assess language skills and provide tailored feedback to effectively monitor and support student progress.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Conduct focused one-on-one online sessions (25, 15, and 7 minutes) to provide individualized attention.
Use advanced digital tools to enrich the learning experience.
Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and punctuality in all aspects of the role.
Adhere to established rules and protocols to ensure consistency.
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Prior experience teaching ESL is highly valued.
Proficiency in effective ESL teaching strategies.
Comfort with online teaching platforms and technology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dedication to creating a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Experience in classroom and student management.
Demonstrated leadership in lesson delivery.
Ability to teach lower-level ESL students with intuitive methods.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Citizenship of the US, Canada, or the UK.
A reliable landline or Ethernet connection (Wi-Fi alone is not acceptable).
English must be your first language.
Working headset with a microphone (earbuds are not acceptable).
Valid identification (passport or driver's license).
A clean and professional background and workspace setup.
Professional demeanor and attire.
Teaching experience (including homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring) is preferred but not required.
Teaching certificates and ESL credentials are desirable but not mandatory.
Work Schedule:
AM Shift: 07:00-11:00 AM KST (18:00-22:00 PM EST) - Based on availability
PM Shift: 19:00-23:00 PM KST (06:00-10:00 AM EST) - Preferred and given priority
Note: KST = Korean Standard Time
Commitment to a minimum of 4-hour shifts, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) is required.
