Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Endoscopy Nurse Manager to lead our state-of-the-art endoscopy unit in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure the highest quality of patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Oversee daily operations of the endoscopy unit, managing a team of about 15-20 nurses and technicians
  • Collaborate with gastroenterologists and other medical staff to optimize patient flow and procedure scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and infection control protocols
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, budgeting, and resource allocation for the endoscopy department
  • Coordinate staff education and training programs to maintain up-to-date clinical skills and knowledge
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluation of endoscopy staff
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless patient care across the healthcare system
Qualifications:
  • Current Massachusetts RN license
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of endoscopy nursing experience
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current certifications in BLS
  • GI-specific certifications (e.g., CGRN) highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures and related equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office suite
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning
  • Capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Visual acuity to read monitors and assess patient conditions
