Enabling advanced modeling and algorithm development across a broad spectrum of problems to accelerate process and product technology solutions and decision making. Using vast streams of data (structured and unstructured) and developing intelligence around these data streams to help technology and product development engineers develop semiconductor solutions faster. Work on applying Data Science concepts to improve time to market, post-silicon validation, ramp enablement, product quality / reliability. May telecommute from home 2 days a week.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field and three 3 years of work experience in job offered or in data scientist- related experience. Alternatively, Employer will accept Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $120,510 - $156,000
