Copywriter to join our Creative team. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to both delight and inform our customers-masterfully balancing the art and science of copywriting across a variety of channels, such as social media, email, e-commerce, retail and above-the-line opportunities.

will require a weekly in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What you'll do as the Copywriter: - Leverage brand and customer insights to develop project-based concepts and copy that can successfully stretch across multiple channels
- Own and evolve our brand tone and terminology, and understand how to apply it across a variety of messaging needs-from brand engagement to conversion
- Support our growing product assortment through naming and messaging that clearly articulates our design intention and value propositions
- Maintain a strong pulse on our customer journeys, and understand how to leverage copy to optimize each and every customer touchpoint to deliver on business goals
- Stay abreast of channel best practices to ensure copy delivers on channel needs
- Work closely with other members of the creative team, as well as internal and external partners, to ensure cohesive end-to-end execution of creative
- Partner with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to understand their needs and respond to feedback effectively
- Maintain a constant pulse on the latest cultural, industry, and competitive trends and successfully translate those insights to your work, helping to cement Away is the leader in our category
- Champion the Away brand in every detail and uphold our brand standards across all deliverables
Who you are: - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a creative brand or agency setting, with a focus on copywriting
- Your portfolio showcases a wide array of integrated experience with both above-the-line and below-the-line initiatives
- Skilled at translating complex information into clear, digestible, and delightful copy for the customer
- Understanding of SEO and paid marketing best practices, and the ability to balance technical needs with writing on-brand copy
- Adept at understanding performance learnings and translating those into actionable creative insights
- Ability to effectively partner with various key stakeholders and manage multiple projects at once without compromising on standards or attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize briefs, conceptualize, and execute against channel-specific deliverables for 360 campaigns and channel-specific needs
- Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing and agile environment where creativity is encouraged at every juncture
- Passionate about transforming travel (but that's a given!)
Compensation Package: Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Away to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.
- Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually
- This role is eligible to participate in Away's Annual Company Performance Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined on an annual basis at the discretion of the company
- Equity Grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company
